He was born July 15, 1853 near Glasgow, Kentucky. He married Cora Monroe, born  January1867 in Michigan. AC as he was known, was the son William Thompson Crenshaw, who was born circa 1820 in Virginia. He married Helen McGill who was born circa 1830 in Kentucky. AC was a minister and lived in the Kansas towns of Harper, Anthony and Kingman area. He died in 1916 at Harper and Cora died in 1910 in Kingman.

A.C. Crenshaw Passes Away.
Elder A.C. CRENSHAW passed away this morning in a hospital in Wellington. He had been sick for some time and was being taken to a hospital in Wichita on the early morning train when he became decidedly worse and was taken off the train when it reached Wellington.
Mr. CRENSHAW had been a resident of Harper for many years and owned considerable property in this locality. He leaves three daughters and three sons to mourn his loss. The funeral will probably be held Friday in this city.

A.C. Crenshaw is buried 35 miles west of Wellington, Kansas in the city of Harper. Harper is also locate about 52 miles SW of Wichita if you head down Hwy 42 and connect to Hwy 2. The best roads will be to take I-35 South of Wichita to Exit 19 and head west on Hwy. 160 through Wellington. Go about 35 miles and come into the town of Harper. In Harper head north on Hwy. 2 heading NE about 1.275 miles and turn left on NE 100 Rd. This is a dirt road. Travel down about 7/10ths of a mile and the cemetery will be on your left. Enter the cemetery and travel straight ahead to the circle. Go around the circle and continue south. Look immediately to the right. Seven rows to the west, facing west is the Crenshaw family plot.
