Directions To The Grave Of Roy
J. Hearn
R. J. Hearn is buried in the Memorial
Park Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. I had the opportunity to visit the cemetery
in January, 2002 with my good friend Jimmy Ferguson, preacher of the Stage Road
Church of Christ in Memphis.
Take I-240 to Poplar Ave. Go west and the cemetery will be on your right. Do Not
Enter at the Poplar Ave. entrance. Head to the next corner and turn right
(North) on Yates Rd. and turn in at the Yates Rd. Entrance. As soon as you turn
in just bear to the left and stop your car. Go into Section D. Follow the iron
fence row down with your eyes to mid-way and not the short brick column (about
4ft. tall). From the column head due East. Note: The graves in this section are
plentiful, and they face east and west. But you can tell there are good sized
sections. Travel in from the brick column three sections and begin looking.
Hearn is buried in Row S, Section 44, #3.
