Directions To The Grave of Pleasant Proffitt

From Tompkinsville, head south on South Main St. out of town. Turn right (east) on County House Rd. (State Hwy. 1316), and travel about four miles. Turn left on Isenburg Cemetery Road. If you get to Sugar Creek Rd. you've gone too far. Head up the road until you get to the cemetery on your left. Enter the first entrance to the left. About 3/4 of the way into the cemetery, look up the hill to the right to the Proffitt section. Pleasant Proffitt is in the middle.
